CRL Award - Best Large Development 2009
Successful construction company Dunmore Construction Limited scooped a prestigious CRL (Construction Register Limited) award for their work on a premium development recently.
The Dundrum based company were the developers behind the illustrious townhouse and apartment development Lisnisky Mews and Lisnisky Court in Portadown, for which they were handed the Award for Excellence for Best Large Development at this year's CRL awards ceremony.
Mr Rodgers established the business in 1983 and, along with his brother Eamon, has been responsible for numerous high quality residential and commercial projects in the area. As a testament, the exclusive Rathcillan development on Newcastle's Bryansford Road was nominated for a coveted NHBC award in 2003.
Presently the company is putting the finishing touches to first-rate developments in Newcastle and Dundrum - The Carriages apartments on the Dundrum Road, Newcastle, Rathcillan on the Bryansford Road and the Castleglen development at Dromara Road, Dundrum.
Managing Director Mr Micheál Rodgers was obviously delighted with the latest accolades and is sure that the firm's success is down to the winning combination of a well designed scheme by architect David McMaster, a dedicated team at the company's office in Dundrum and a highly skilled workforce on the various developments.
Despite the recession, Mr Rodgers is upbeat about the future, during the second quarter of this year the firm sold 26 units across all their sites. "The starter home and apartment market has reached the bottom and buyers are availing of the excellent value available", he said.
As business continues to improve for the long established firm, this won't be the last award they will collect in the coming years.
